Savory or sweet, fruity or creamy, tart or a chocolate lover's dream — there's a perfect slice for everyone.
According to a list compiled by Yelp, the North Carolina eatery serving up the "best pie" in the state is Louie and Honey's Kitchen in Winston-Salem. The site notes that this beloved spot owned by a mother-daughter duo is "filled with love" that translates to its delicious pies. Standouts include the pumpkin and key lime. Louie and Honey's Kitchen is located at 401 W. End Boulevard.
Here's what Yelp had to say about determining which eateries serve the best pie in the U.S.:
"This is an all-time list of the top pie spots in the U.S. according to Yelp Elites. We identified businesses in the cafe and bakery categories with pie keywords, then ranked those spots based on the volume and ratings of reviews given by Yelp Elite Squad members for each business. If a spot with more than one location was featured, the location with the higher rating was featured. All businesses were marked open on Yelp as of February 17, 2025. When available, all businesses on this list have a passing health score as of February 17, 2025."
