Where was Vince Neil when his private jet crashed, killing the pilot and injuring his girlfriend, earlier this week?
That seems to be the question on fan's minds as investigations surrounding the tragic incident continue to unfold.
According to the New York Post, the Mötley Crüe frontman was in Florida celebrating his birthday the day his girlfriend, Rain Andreani, and one of her friends used his private jet to fly to the Royal Crown Barrel Race competition in Scottsdale. The outlet reported that Neil wanted to remain in The Sunshine State for a few more days to "enjoy the beach before his flight" on Thursday (February 13).
The "Girls, Girls, Girls" hitmaker's private aircraft veered off the runway and crashed into a parked jet at the Scottsdale Airport on Monday (February 10) afternoon when the "left main gear failed upon landing." Neil's lawyer released a statement regarding the incident, revealing that the pilot died and Andreani (who sustained five broken ribs) and her friend were taken to the hospital. A few dogs present on the jet remained unharmed.
Mötley Crüe shared an update with fans on Instagram on Thursday (February 13) morning (per Daily Mail), assuring that Anderani was released from the hospital on Wednesday (February 12) but deleted the post.
