Nestled between Pilot Mountain State Park and Hanging Rock State Park, with close proximity to Stone Mountain State Park, the Town of Pilot Mountain could certainly be considered the basecamp for outdoor activity in Surry County. With a combined park visitation of over 3 million, outdoor recreation has begun to grow exponentially. Rock climbing, kayaking, camping, fishing, horseback riding, hiking and much more await visitors to our area. The Pilot Mountain Outdoor Adventure Expo has been designed to showcase outdoor recreation businesses and manufacturers. It is our hope to increase awareness and encourage economic growth.
